Explore the body’s intricate workings in our "Functional Anatomy in Asana" module. This comprehensive course is designed to enhance your understanding of how anatomical structures influence yoga postures. You'll gain insights into alignment, movement patterns, and injury prevention, applying this knowledge to refine your teaching and personal practice.

Join us for a journey that bridges theory and practice, empowering you to guide students with confidence and precision. We will study the skeletal system to prevent injury in asana, adapt poses for individual bodies, and teach with a functional approach. The focus will be on the sensation and purpose of the pose rather than its shape, enhancing each student's experience.

Sacred Rest - The Art of Restorative Yoga

January 23-25, 2025 — $375 Full training

Day Pass option 8 hours CEU $175
Friday: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Lunar Yoga - 101 Meadow Drive Cumming GA 30040

This immersive weekend explores the therapeutic power of Restorative Yoga—where stillness becomes medicine and the breath becomes the guide. Trainees will learn how to sequence, cue, and hold space for deeply healing practices rooted in nervous system regulation, trauma-informed care, and yogic philosophy.

Restorative Yoga is often misunderstood as simply “laying around on the floor.” But true restorative practice is far more intentional and profound. It’s not passive—it’s receptive. It’s not about doing nothing—it’s about doing less with purpose. This training uncovers the missing piece: the subtle art of energetic engagement, breath awareness, and mindful presence within stillness. You’ll learn how to guide students into a space where healing happens—not because they’re inactive, but because they’re deeply attuned.

Whether you're looking to integrate restorative elements into dynamic classes or offer full-length restorative sessions, this training will equip you with the tools to teach with confidence, compassion, and clarity.

Full Weekend training 20 hours part of the 300 HR YTT program, CEUs, all are welcome who are interested in learning and deep diving into the restorative practice. No prior training required.
