Participants will learn how to safely navigate having pregnant and postpartum students in your class and how to adjust your sequencing on the fly to make an already written class safe for a pregnant or postpartum student. This module is also open to yoga students who are pregnant/postpartum, intend to become pregnant, or support a pregnant/postpartum individual. This module may also be taken as a continuing education module for instructors looking to meet Yoga Alliance CEU hours. Note: this weekend does not certify you to teach prenatal yoga, but it is a great precursor to a full prenatal yoga teacher training program and provides you with a working knowledge of pregnant friendly poses and modifications to be used in group yoga classes.
